Lemon is one of the most popular ingredients for home treatment of hyperpigmentation. It has citric acid which is a natural bleaching agent. Again, there are multiple ways of using lemon to treat hyperpigmentation.
You can squeeze out fresh lemons juice and apply that lemon juice with the help of a cotton ball on the spots. Keep the juice on your spots for a period of 10 to 15 min and then wash it with you warm water. It is recommended to use this remedy at least twice a day for some months.
You can also use lemon by mixing it with honey in equal parts in the form of a facial mask. After applying the mixture onto the spots, cover it with warm towel for a period of 15 to 20 min. Rinse it off with warm water. It is recommended to do this treatment at least once a week for a period of a few months.
This fruit is rich in the enzymes that can help in treating hyperpigmentation. For using this fruit, you need to mash the pulp in an even manner. This pulp needs to be applied on the face and kept there for a period of 15 to 20 min. Rinse it off with warm water.
It is recommended to use this treatment on a daily basis for a few months. Also, instead of keeping the pulp on your skin, you may also squeeze out juice directly from the fruit on the affected spots.
